Ok boot into safe mode with networking and download GPUZ and use that to check your GPU temps. I doubt that your GPU temps are shutting your pc down before it even boots up, there has to be another issue

Have you tried to run chkdsk to see if you might have a bad sector in your HD, or do a system restore?? You can also run startup repair if you have a corrupt bootup file, If that fails From safe mode go into your command prompt, open under administrator mode type bootrec.exe /FixMbr. No fix yet...

Does it flash a blue screen before rebooting?? Have you tried to boot into safe mode from bios??

I guess the MSI was still bleeding resources for something that I didn't have anymore and it was causing the program to crash

I figured out what it was. I still had the monitoring turned on, on MSI for keyboard LCD still from my old keyboard and it was causing it to crash.

I do have evga precision. I really just use Afterburner for monitoring and recording now

Ok I tried it without GFE running and the same thing happened. Afterburner crashed about a half hour ingame
