Europe's War on Google Could Ruin Android

They did, especially in Germany, where public photography and filming is not a right and you must ask people's permission. Google was also sued for mining data from people's unsecured networks while they were doing this.

Europe's War on Google Could Ruin Android

Slight bias in the article here (slight understatement also). I live in the EU and the main issue they have with google is not what the article states, it's that google directs people using their services to their products. Prioritising their adverts on google search for example. Uncompetitive...

Free AVG AntiVirus Comes to Apple Macs

"Actually, there is a study that states that Mac users are smarter then PC users. Google this. " Nicely worded, I'm guessing you are the exception that proves the rule?

Radiohead's Thom Yorke, Nigel Godrich Pull Spotify Tracks

"because the money is divided up by percentage of total streams" can't see a problem with this, 10% of streams, 10% of pot. If everyone was paid a set amount and didn't vary by spotify profitability, Spotify would go under in a second. So what Thom York is suggesting is that Spotify should...

Apple CEO Tim Cook Publicly Apologizes for Apple Maps

"At Apple, we strive to make world-class products that deliver the best experience possible to our customers. With the launch of our new Maps last week, we fell short on this commitment." IKEA Debuts Ready-made HDTV Home Theater System

Odd, I imagine there are TV's out there with a bluray/dvd player attached. Not to mention many already have media playback through a USB. I was expecting more of a media centre take on it so you could browse internet etc like a mini PC. This is a very backward implementation.

Demand Your Data From Google, Facebook, Says Father 'Net

When I don't have adblock, the google ads tend to advertise what I recently looked out. Defeating any purpose of collecting my data and would generate 0 sales. It was just an annoying reminder about what I wasn't interested in. Bravo! Adverts these days, despite the massive amounts of data...

Google Drive Launching Next Week with 5 GB Storage

Can I share parts of this 'box' to everyone on the internet? If not, stick your cloud storage, since there is no point of storing things online if the people on your network (the internet) can't access it.

Amazon Allowing Shoppers to Trade in CDs for Gift Cards

Difference vs CD and Itunes. When you buy a CD, you are not renting the rights. Which probably makes piracy the sensible place to be.
