This might work. shut laptop down. remove battery and power cord. press power button for 20-30 sec. insert battery. plug in power cord. power on. If this does nothing then the battery probably is dead and has to be replaced.

does the trackpad work properly? maybe the trackpad software somehow disabled other pointing devices besides itselfe, try looking in the settings. do you have a different pc for testing the mouse? and/or different moust to test pc?

you probably formatted the usb drive in the wrong fileformat. try looking at the manual of the tv to see wich format types it supports,(fat,ntfs..) and make the usb accordingly.

Well, what do you want it to do when the lid closes? there are more options available besides do nothing as you might have seen.

Try looking in the power management and there you should be able to choose 'do nothing' when lid is closed.

it depends on the keyboard layout/language you have. on danish layout it is with 'Alt Gr + 2' on german layout 'Alr Gr + q' dont know with english

It could be that the folder is hidden on the sd card. in the folder option check off show hidden files and folders.
