Apple Watch Doubters Wrong: You Need a Smartwatch Now

When the iPad was announced, I said that it had its uses, but for me, very limited and I would not get much out of it. Currently, I occasionally use my tablet to read or browse the web while in bed, but that's it. Smartwatches I see as even more useless than that, and I will not be getting one...

Apple Watch to Launch in March (Report)

Smartwatches still haven't found anything they are good at, except for showing notifications and tracking your heartrate (and even that is iffy). Their advantage is use-speed and availability, but their disadvantage of size (and everything that is the result of that) limits their usability...

Why the Wii U is the Best Console You Can Buy

A PC and Wii U seem to be made for each other this gen as most of the multiplats run on PC as well (not that there have been many that caught my interest), and Wii U for great exclusives. Most of my solo gaming is done on Wii U, as well as local multiplayer (the best kind really), PC still...

Android Wear? Not on My Wrist

MS seems to be the only one who got smart watches right by making their band less "smart". If iPhone has thought us anything, it's that features don't matter, simplicity does (as far as the mass consumer market is concerned).

    Blocking Apple Pay is Anti-Consumer

Meanwhile I'll keep using my NFC debit card for small payments (it has a limit)[takes ~1sec], and the chip + PIN for larger ones[takes ~2,5sec], lucky I don't live in the states. Using a phone doesn't really improve the experience. As for the blocking of NFC -payments, I guess they are within...

Apple Builds One SIM Card to Rule Them All

This is something that's been suggested since the year 2000, carriers just haven't been very receptive to the idea.

The iPhone 6 Cometh Sept 9 (Reports)

Double posting here, but it's hardly impossible to see the difference, most people don't see the difference from about 30inches away, but some people use the phone from a smaller distance, and some just have excellent eyes. I do agree though, that pushing pointless pixels (like 1080p on less...

The iPhone 6 Cometh Sept 9 (Reports)

I just can't see the general app-experience being good in a large screen iPhone (back -buttons in the top left corner for example), but I'm happy that iOS -users get more choice (just wished 4" would remain a choice as well).

iWatch Entering Mass Production in November (Report)

Not really, they'd just need a curved screen, it wouldn't have to flex. Besides, it's clearly written in a way that implies the flexibility plays a part in the device being durable.

Why Apple's iWatch Already Beats Android Wear

So it would be in direct competition with the iWatch: "instead of attempting to be an all-purpose shrunken smartphone, the iWatch will reportedly focus on fitness and health." Not that interested in buying any of these, but it's fun to see what both companies come up with.

Why Apple's iWatch Already Beats Android Wear

Might as well compare to Microsoft's watch, at least that's rumored to work on all platforms.

Microsoft Smartband Coming in October with 11 Sensors, Open APIs, and Cross-platform Compatibilty

Then don't buy a watch from any company that operates in the US.

Nintendo Looking to Merge Handheld and Console Development

While mobile gaming might be affecting handheld -gaming device sales, there is really no comparing the experience. Touch screen controls just generally suck for gaming, as evidenced by most of the successful games on mobile platforms which are better defined as "time wasters" than gaming...

Very much looking forward to seeing games designed for this.

Should You Buy a Wii U?

Unless you want the same old gameplay (just with better graphics) as offered by XBone and PS4, yes!
