if it gets refreshed to 970m chances are it will be more expensive (hopefully not)
This one is very cool for the price http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834317890&cm_re=lenovo_y50-_-34-317-890-_-Product
The np7338/7358/7378 is a very good option too
I would get the first option: 8GB SSD, same GPU/memory, better CPU, better resolution. However, If I really wanted to get more fps I would get the 2nd (lower resolution), it also has a bigger screen.
yep, please fill the new laptop form. I would recommend Asus, Sager and MSI for gaming, MSI and dell as workstations, and any brand of your likes for general usage (I would recommend acer)
he's asking if anyone happens to know why people hate acer. I am wondering too, mine is 6 years old and it's still okay (and it was never the top tier laptop or anything). Of course it performs poorly for 2014 but it still works pretty good
touchpad, good and gaming can't go well in a sentence
http://www.xoticpc.com/custom-gaming-laptops-notebooks-gaming-laptops-ct-118_96_98.html pretty much anything below 1000$ will play dota and LoL at max settings with no problems at all. I recommend the NP73 38/58/78
I suggest you re-paste the GPU/CPU, add a few copper to the heatsink and any cooling pad of your likes, I would recommend cooler master notepals, either one with a big fan or two/three/four movable fans
