    I have a VGA to HDMI adapter but when I connect it to my computer, the TV displays "no signal" though the computer is acknowledging the connection to the TV. Any advice?

    i have a toshia satellite laptop that has a vga output I bought a vga hdmi converter that connects to the end of the vga cord. I connect everything correctly and I have no signal.
