I do not use either for ISO's since Windows 8/8.1 can mount ISO files I have found them useless. I still use WinRar for rar files but that is about it.

That GPU should be able to do 5.1 out though the HDMI port no problem. It will at least be able to handle DD and DTS maybe not True HD or Master Audio but at least standard DD and DTS for sure.

Right click Desktop>Left Click Screen Resolutions>Make sure that the TV is selected and enabled for Extended Desktop. Windows does not always automatically enable all displays that are connected.
