The i5 4200u will run battlefield 4 on medium to high settings. With the graphics card you cant go higher anyway so the processor wnt be a limiting factor.

A laptop should usually work longer than 3 years, im using a 7 year old thinkpad wich still works fine. But on the other end a notebook for 300 $ porbably wont last that long :P Trying to blow the fans out with compressed air often helps.

You could always go for an alienware mx17 if wheight and portability doenst matter. If you dont care if the notebook i smostly plastic (same with MSI) you could google for "Metabox" an australian reseller of clevo laptops. They are cheap, highly configurable and ...well.. lots of plastic.

I wont do a lot of very complicated video editing stuff on th laptop, for more damanding jobs i would use my desktop. The question is if there is ( or will be in the next month) a simmilar laptop for a simmilar price. IF not i would probably buy this one beacuse i didnt really find an...

Hey, Im looking for a new notebook for work (photoshop, some video editing, word, internet et.c...) and some light gaming. The notebook should be mobile - not to heavy or thick and the battery should last arround 5-6 hours. I think the Dell isnpiron 15 7000 7537 which i can get for 900 USD fits...
