    Laptop lagging while charging

    My laptop unplugged will run at 2.6 ghz, when i plug it in it caps at .75ghz. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated. :) Also i have tried configuring the power settings, they are all the same for battery and unplugged, i have tried taking the battery out but still nothing, please help.

    I play minecraft and world of warcraft, unplugged on both games i get 60-80fps, plugged in on both i get 15-20, help?
