These New Battery Technologies Will Change Your Life

That is true and I hate it, the new "ultra-thin" phones feel so fragile in my hands I think I will break it and have to put a bulky case on it to make it feel usable. They might as well just put a bigger battery in there and advertise the actual multi day charge. I would love a phone that is...

How to Make Google Forget You

By unflattering they also mean things like court cases against you that could drive customers away or hurt their image. I believe one case was a school principal who was arrested for urinating in public and wanted that removed from the search engine. Basically people do stupid things and get...

One Journalist Wants Refund for Google Glass

So basically the guy bought something without even researching it and now wants his money back. Most of those reasons are just stupid or his fault, Glass isn't a full out done product yet it is basically beta and of course there will be problems. Hell it is called the "Explorer Program" for a...

'War Biking' San Francisco Reveals Lousy Wi-Fi Security

You can find out what MAC addresses are whitelisted on a router rather easily, it is in no way good security alone. Using MAC filtering plus adding in WPA2 or another encryption with a strong password is much more secure though, but like I said the filtering alone is rather easy to bypass.

Google's 10 Gigabit Internet vs. The World

I am sure local ISPs are fighting Google at every step making it very difficult for them to expand past where they are currently. With that I see no reason why Google shouldn't work on increasing speed while at the same time trying to fight to get into the game in other cities. Remember local...

Snapchat Exposed: Angry Hackers Post Exploit Code Online

@tolham this is actually how a lot of white hats get exploits fixed, they find the problems and let the companies know what is wrong and how to fix it after a certain amount of time if the problem is not fixed they will send the information out to force the company to do it. It's nothing new and...

Free AVG AntiVirus Comes to Apple Macs

@apone As much as I love to make fun of Macolites, from what I have seen the average PC user isn't all that good at learning simple ways to avoid viruses either. Don't get me wrong, I oppose most all things Apple and probably always will.

Are Windows 8.1's Security Improvements Worth the Upgrade?

@JD88 You only get Android upgrades if you have a Nexus or root your phone and it is free because Google makes money on ads Ubuntu is based on Linux so they can't charge for the OS, support yes but not the OS itself. Chromebook is the same as Android makes money from ads. iOS is a phone OS...
