What I was going to do was replace the HDD with a SDD and then remove the optical drive abs put the HDD in the optical bay. That way I would have the benefit of SSD and still have a HDD for media storage.

The other night I made the mistake of setting my laptop on the ground next to my bed and, sure enough, I ended up stepping on it after forgetting I had placed it there. The whole top corner of the screen is all messed up so now I don't know what to do with a laptop with a broken screen. Any ideas?
