Stepped on Screen of Toshiba Laptop, Now What?

The other night I made the mistake of setting my laptop on the ground next to my bed and, sure enough, I ended up stepping on it after forgetting I had placed it there. The whole top corner of the screen is all messed up so now I don't know what to do with a laptop with a broken screen. Any ideas?

Replace the screen. Connect it to an external monitor.

Look up your model at ifixit, they might have a replacement guide, and they often also recommend parts and repair tools.

Look for a replacement screen, they are usually pretty inexpensive. Cruise google and youtube to find guides on how to replace the screen on your model laptop, should be straightforward.
