That's quite normal for a gaming laptop... they tend to get a bit hot. If it's only a month old I'm guessing that it's pretty clean inside. You can try changing the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. Arctic MX-4 is a great thermal compound, you'll also need isopropyl alcohol to wipe the old paste.

Sounds like your battery is dead... you can buy a new original one online. It's also really easy to replace.

70C is quite high for idle. You should open your laptop and clean your heatsinks, fans and re-apply thermal paste. Arctic MX-4 will be my recommendation in terms of thermal compound.

Definitely go with the GTX 1060 variant... is 40-50% faster in games compared to the 1050ti. The i5 8300h should perform slightly better(it won't be noticeable) because of hyperthreading, but in games the one with the GTX 1060 will be much faster.

It's usually not possible to change the GPU in laptops... it is soldered onto the motherboard. You'll need to get another laptop with a better GPU.

Try uninstalling your GPU driver with DDU(display driver uninstaller)... it'll wipe it completely. DDU Download link You should start your laptop in safe mode and uninstall it with DDU from there. After that re-install the GPU driver.

You should find the option to allocate more VRAM to your iGPU in your BIOS. It should allocate more RAM by default to your iGPUs VRAM anyways, but from the BIOS you can set the maximum amount allocated. Having more VRAM though on that GPU wouldn't help much, if at all... that GPU performance is...
