Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Leading Phablets

"the Note 4 lasted 8 hours and 43 minutes. That’s 21 minutes longer than the smartphone category average but way behind the iPhone 6 Plus's time of 10 hours" Since when does 9:16 round up to 10 hours? Common core perhaps? 33 minutes isn't really "way behind", it's only about 6% more.

Asus ux31 "Plugged in, not charging"

Sorry, should have specified. The laptop was draining while giving the message. As in, under 20%. However, it seems to have solved itself after a few restarts anyways.

Asus ux31 "Plugged in, not charging"

My Asus ux31 ultrabook suddenly decided to stop charging this afternoon. The charger has a steady green light, and the windows status is "Plugged in, not charging". I've restarted, tried different sockets, etc. No change. Any suggestions?

Asus Software won't Recognize Asus Laptop

Solved it myself actually. It's a driver download from Asus that you have to install first: "ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities". The download page for your model is linked to below. http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/K53SV/#support_Download_30

Asus Software won't Recognize Asus Laptop

I picked up a refurbished Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A-DB51 from Amazon recently. It came with no Asus drivers or software pre-installed. I activated windows with the Asus Windows key I found on the wall charger, but a few Asus programs I downloaded won't recognize it as an Asus laptop. The...

    Hands-on with Toshiba's Massive 13-inch Android Tablet

Personally, I've always liked the idea of a larger tablet. Yeah, it's not as portable and it's definitely heavier. However, I would take a 13inch over a 10inch any day. The screen real estate increase is well worth it to me, as well as having a larger on-screen keyboard. It's not so much...

Google Will Pay You For Tracking Your Every Move

I was all for it until I realized that its not a lump $25, its $5 to start, plus $5 every three months. Lame. My swagbucks + auto-reload extension gets me $5 for amazon every 4 days, and thats with an extension that doesn't spy on me :)

    Google's HUD Glasses Sound Awesome

Personally, I wouldn't have much use for them. A GPS function that lays out your path in front of you would be cool. As would a zoom function. The camera aspect is a bit creepy though :)

Google Invested $3 Million in Cree LED Lightbulbs

ah heck, at first glance I thought it was talking about a 450 lumen flashlight for $25 and I got excited. But seriously, $25 for a lightbulb? Give me 25 CFLs! 13 watts and 825 lumens and much better lighting.
