Might just found a fix. Read this tips online: Turn on "vertical sync" in all games to keep max fps at 60(assuming 60hz monitor). Turn on "triple buffering" in NVidia control panel. Let me know if that helps. And it seems to work. Feel a slight fps-drop, but not anything like I did before...

And now I am getting some fps-drops. Could it be a temperature problem? Should not get drops in a game like Torchlight II. You have come with many suggestions, really appreciate that, Metalwell!

Been playing for an hour now, and I have not noticed any fps-drops so far. Guess I just have to realize that my specs are not good enough then?

Not using any app, using windows task manager. I am going to try with Torchlight II, which I should run smooth, and see.

Yeah, really annoying. When the drop happens, the game does not freeze, rather it feels like I am playing in slow motion for 1 to 2 seconds and then back to normal.

Yeah, I am aware of that. But it should be good enough to run at least the Telltale Games smoothly, should it not? EDIT: Games run stable apart from the fps-drops.
