thanks what may be the redundancy? i check back in the thread and did not really notice anything for redundancy, so i missed something i guess. i did see one that said UBO and ghostery. so are you saying that i don't car for cookies and malware bytes are the redundancy?

ok update i have switched both pc's over to FF now and i have most if notall my info transferred over. i will run FF now on both pc's and in a few weeks if i keep FF i will switch the wife and my sister and brother over to FF i have UBO and ghostery and privacy badger running now if privacy...

i just did the software and drivers seperate and did a firmware update and i got 2 sided to work but i still do not get the option for pages. i do get the page to open for print preview and it does show pages along the left side but when i click on any of the pages and then hit the printer icon...

i have the hl-l2340d and the software i got from brother will not let me print 2 sided and will not do pages from win11 notepad or win10 notepad running in win11. i can get 2 sided but i have to go into the app everytime i print and set it and then it may work and may not. i reset the printer...

ok i got that popup again. if i can figure out how to paste a screen shot i will post it. so if i can't figure this out or it is just not possible even with FF i might as well use chrome as i have that on all my other pc's

ok back on the pc running FF and i changed the browser to yahoo and all the side junk went away and all i see is the FF search window. i still use the search window at the top but maybe out of habit. i will try that lower one and see if it is any better.

mostly the browser page is just like the chrome page . it is real hard to describe. just a bit ago i tried to get ublock origin back on this pc by doing some of the latest tricks from YT and not one worked. and one of the tricks was just a few days ago. and again today i got another chrome...

ok i have been using FF on 1 pc for a few days but why does it tell me google? is google involved with FF?

ok i opened that and found out that i can just drag it out of that place. also it looks like the extra space went also. thanks also after some ublock origin tweaks i think that ebay popup is gone. but i will give this a few days to make sure.

well day 2 with FF and i had to go and do some tweaks. so far it seems to be working but i will give it some time to see if it stays that way. but tell me is there a way to remove that box in the top left? the view recent browsing? i really do not need that taking up space along the tab bar.
