I tried that and didn't work. I recently tried my speakers on an old computer to see if surround sound would work and it did. I think I have a faulty sound card and might purchase a new one since I know the speakers are fine.

My sound card is a C-Media 8738. The speakers I'm using are Logitch Z506. I have all the connections correct. (I plugged the green yellow and black cord into the soundcard from my speakers). I installed the driver for my soundcard and also used the Xear 3D software to set up 6 channel input...
