I didn't change anything and now it suddenly sounds like a really static radio station that comes from all 6 speakers from all inputs. I have a Yamaha receiver. I have no idea what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated, in the meantime, I can't do anything involved with the tv.

So I want to play a new game, Gone Home, through my receiver; however, it only has 2 channel stereo sound. If it matters, i have a pioneer rx-v865. I would like to simulate surround for this game, what is my best coarse of action? I have looked for Dolby Pro Logic, but I can't seem to find it...

I do have one more question. I was wanting to play Gone Home, which I don't believe has 5.1, so what is the way to simulate 5.1?

Well is there any way you can think of to test it so I can see if the surround speakers are functioning properly? I know it has to be a movie or game, but I need something that uses the back speakers heavily.

It seem like I do get surround. My receiver says PCM. However, it seems like all sounds come through every speaker though. Any further ideas?
