I believe the pump gets its power from the SATA-style power cable attached. Only one of the pins on the fan header has a wire on it, the sense pin. The pump appears to be getting power since the pump led is working, but it could well be that the pump itself if faulty as I can't hear any noise...

A bad pump does indeed seem to fit the problem. I'll give Tech Support a call.

The USB cable is attached to a USB header on the motherboard. Actually I tried two different USB headers on the motherboard and it made no difference.

The h100i is hooked up per instructions, the pump (wire coming off of h100i module) is hooked to header on motherboard labeled 'cpu fan'. Fans are hooked up to Y-cable provided with h100i unit which is in turn attached to connector on side of h100i, as stated in instructions.

Does anyone have any suggestions on H100i configuration? I've got a brand new H100i on new Intel I7 hex core and an Asus x79 motherboard. Sitting at idle in BIOS CPU temps climb slowly without stopping until machine shuts down. At power up H100i lamp is white but goes to red in about 3...
