Well I just bought a new copy of Need for Speed Carbon so my copy is legit (from Jarir Bookstores Saudi Arabia). The problem is that anti-aliasing never works, actually the anti-aliasing option is grayed out in the game. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15R with AMD 7670m. Disabling the Intel GPU...
My god I have the exact same laptop as the second config. And difference in RAM type would not have a big impact (if any at all) in your case. So for me it would be the lappy with the AMD 7670m. And the Processor is new 3rd gen intel with iGPU intel hd 4000.
So I have the Dell Inspiron 15R which has an AMD 7670m and an Intel HD 4000. I know that AMD discrete GPUs and iGPUs can be in hybrid crossfire. My question is that is it possible to do the same with the AMD 7670m and the Intel HD 4000
Simply place a call to your phone from your land-line or some other place. You will hear it ringing some place :P used to do that whenever I "lost" my phone in my house.
Hey does the game lockup and pause then continue. Like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v50yl340DA.
Also check if you have by mistake set the affinity to 1 core or its priority to realtime or below normal or low.
A packet is a unit of network data. Does it say slow down when you look at firefights then all of a sudden speeds up for no reason (not fps increase). Could you post the gfx settings that you were using.
What about the laptop the Samsung 700Z5A. It is really good fast and can play most modern games at medium settings and any future titles at lower settings (if u do not mind the low image quality).
It has to be your internet connection causing the lag. I used to play Battlefield 2 on a 256k on a Intel 4500m and used to lag only when in heavy firefights or something bombastic went off on the screen.
Right now I have a Samsung Khronos 700Z5A (look at my sig).
Tasks or games to play: Battlefield 3, Metro 2033, Age of Empires III, Call of Duty MW3 and Crysis 2 /w dx11+HRT.
How much of a performance gain will I see from buying the Lenovo Y580
