Tried running a windows 8 install cd and i got BSOD after it finished loading off the CD. NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE What could it be? Is this a faulty motherboard? I thibk i rulled out the most common problems that could have caused this.

Put the laptop back together. Problem still persists. Black screen after starting windows screen. Stuck on disk.sys in safe mode Will probably try reflowing again on 235c. Have no idea how to identify the silicone type, so i think il just go for it :P

I decided i will try to reflow the motherboard. Baking it at 200c for 8 min. Will assemble it back after its cooled down. Will report back how it goes.

Strange that it doesnt power on despite the board being powered when plugged it.
