Thankyou for your time, I also tried putting it in the other HDMI ports still no sound. I checked both manuals for a special setting, but both don't mention any. The soundbar works via bluetooth and optical. But no sound from HDMI in any position. Also changed the HDMI cable but no result.

Hi, My tv (Philips 49PUS7909/12) won't give sound to my home cinema system (Jbl Cinema SB400) I'm trying to connect it with HDMI ARC but it doesn't work. However with an optical cable it works fine. Any solutions?
