    Are you trying to connect VGA from Monitor to computer and then connect VGA from TV to computer? What do you mean no pc attached? You must display something out. TV can not work as a computer and display out to the monitor.

    Wait for laptops with GTX 1070 and 1080 on it. Right now there are few under $1500 with 1060 on it so if you don't like waiting then go for it. For laptops under 500-700 best you can have is Skylake cpu with integrated 530.

    Which headphone. Just plug in your computer. If the headphone has one 3.5mm jack and computer has 2 ports then you need an audio splitter to make both mic and sound to work
