I checked dell site today they have stopped offering 1080p resolution in their base model for customization and the other one in too expensive for my budget, so what shud i do in this situation?

should i get warranty extended or is it enough in your experience? Should i buy accidental damage warranty if there is high probability of some part damage?

i am buying Alienware m17x laptop through my friend in US because of outdated configuration available here in India and it will also cost me less. Is there any warranty plans I can avail to avoid any problems as I have heard that alienware/dell provides you with poor customer care service system?

Thnx for your last reply. Samsung 5 series has problem of overheating within 30 minutes of gaming so how one can cope with that? And which is better samsung or Lenovo for this configuration and how about HP-ENVY-17-j029nr-Quad-Edition-Notebook?

some people are saying that Lenovo y500 with lower resolution settings is better for gaming than Lenovo y510 with 1080p display setting. how is it possible???
