Not sure on exact sound differences but I'd just get the cloud 2s if you don't want to buy a mic. If you want to buy a mic I'd go with HD 558s from Sennheiser. They're 99.

Last night I was just playing the division then all the sudden sound cut out. I tried every jack on my PC yet I can't hear anything coming from my headphones but the headphones still work, they work fine with my phone. I have sennheiser HD 558

I need to get a new microphone to go along with my headphones. I had the zalman clip on mic that was $8 but it just shit on me. Stopped working randomly. I have a max of $20 USD, amazon would be the best. Only got an amazon gift card.

I also started out with the Razer Krakens man and I recently picked myself up a pair of HD 558's and I love them. They're amazing.

I got the Sennheiser 558's. I must say I love them, took a little time to get adjusted with them find the proper volume for everything and such, it's amazing. Thank you guys for all the help.

I can get the HyperX Cloud off of their website for like 50 right now. I'm kinda big on a good sounding microphone so at some point I plan on getting that clip on mic that was posted before, but it doesn't matter that much. From what I saw most of the more recommended high end headsets/phones...

I also play a shit ton of CSGO, so out of all these headsets, better once to pick up those low sounds etc?

Would it be worth buying the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma? it's on sale for 80 instead of 100, I have the 7.1's now and I personally like them. Any flaws with the chroma ones?

Are the hyperx cloud 2s any better?

I need a new pair of gaming headsets, my the max I want to spend is like $100.
