Help upgrading to a Audiophile grade PC setup

Looking at the audio part and assuming you are going via the big speaker route... You will need power supplies, amplifiers and decent cables. If you don't already have a decent sound card, you may either want to buy one, or instead buy a separate DAC that will convert digital signals to analogue...

I'm looking to connect two audio outputs (3.5mm) to one set of speakers (3.5mm) and use both audio sources simultaneously. Wha

The best solution would be to buy a 2 channel audio mixer. The audio mixers should have volume control for each channel, and output to the speakers. It will be a search through the models to find one that accepts the connectors you require though. A good place to start would be to go to Amazon...

    Unable to launch any website

Jaspreet, I disagree on you with one point you made. The IP of the router on your network like 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1 is the local IP. The hackers only see you global IP, which can be anything at all like 111.222.123.234 The best defence is definitely to make a long and complicated admin...

1 USB port broke, now nothing works

When you damaged the port, I think it is likely that the pins inside of the USB port are now touching. If the +5v pin is touching ground, it will cause a short which would explain the lack of power. Potentially, the 5v pin is touching a data pin and may have damaged the USB controller (the chip...

Dual/Tri Monitors Lag Only When Playing Fullscreen Games

Nothing appears to be wrong. It would seem that the problem lies else where, as the hardware is working perfectly. Potentially I would say it is a bug with the drivers, but that is unlikely. An extreme measure would be to reinstall the OS, but the hassle of backing up then recopying everything...

Dual/Tri Monitors Lag Only When Playing Fullscreen Games

It can always be good to know how well the graphics card is performing when running games. Personally, if you have not already tried, install MSI Afterburner You can look at GPU usage, VRAM usage, GPU frequency and GPU temperature to see if the GPU is causing any issues. Things we are looking...

    Unable to launch any website

Definitely looks like you have a virus there! I mean heck, who in their right mind would disable their antivirus??? Depending on how nasty it is, I would suggest starting an antivirus scan, then leave it to scan your PC and fix the viruses. If that does not work, try uninstalling all browsers...

    Solved! Nvidia massive glitch

This does sound like a GPU memory fault. As long as you haven't tried to overclock the GPU (why would you bother OCing a GT720?), then the other options include: Card overheating, as hang-the-9 said. See if you can dust out your laptop if this is the case. Incompatible/corrupt graphics drivers...

Solved! Hear desktop mic thru' bluetooth headset

I am a bit rusty on this but I had something similar when using a headset which uses a pair of 3.5mm audio jacks for sound and microphone. In the sound card drivers (Integrated RealTek on the motherboard, called RealTek HD Audio Manager) I found an option in the mic settings to increase the...
