No,I disassembled the laptop,and the problem is the power jack,I plugged in another battery and it worked but it won't charge,so it turned off after the battery depleted.

My 6 year old Toshiba laptop whose battery is not charging anymore but it still used to turn on,anyways I tried to turn it on today,after a min it starts to flashing red like its battery is low and I have the charger on it then it turns off or reboot,and the same happened,I tried turning it on...

A desktop is always cheaper and runs games better than a laptop,but there's decent laptops that can run these games at high settings but try cost a lot 2k$ like the alienware 17(gtx 980m)but 1k-700$ desktops can do the same and better performance,anyways have you considered getting a console...

The dell xps 13 is exactly what you need!and dell have the best laptops,its around 950$ check out the xps 15 too.

Do not worry,you an run it at 1366*768 resolution and you can tweak up some graphic options too and you would stay at 30fps,and there's no game similar to GTA V graphics I think,but its requirements are lower than the current next gen games (shadow of mordor,dying light,Inquisition...)

The charger can reach 90w max on 22v,then how come it can only give 2A?

After some googling ,I read that if the amperage is lower the power supply can overheat and break because its not receiving the amperage it wants,so?

Can I use a universal 19.5v charger (2.0A) on my Toshiba laptop that requires 19v (4.74A)?will it charge slower?will it break?the laptop is 2 years old.
