From another forum: If you don't mind erasing everything on your RTV, I would use 3-8-2-Zones to Factory Reset the unit and go back through the quick setup. Issue solved. I was able to go through the quick setup to make the changes needed for my system.

Inherited a Replay TV 5040 from my daughter. I dont have a phone jack near the DVR but I do have ethernet. I've gone through the network settings but only option is to select another phone number. Also, I never get to the quick setup screen to configure the basic settings. Anyone know what's...
