If you have another Dell or HP power adapter available (they use the same pinout, although an HP cord will not charge the battery in your Dell), try it and see if you get the same result. If it still occurs, you have an electrical short inside the laptop.

Remove the battery, unplug the AC adapter. With battery out and AC adapter unplugged, hold the power button for a few seconds, this will clear power from the capacitors in the system. Then, leave the battery out, and just plug in the AC adapter. What happens?

I think everyone missed the biggest part of this release: A USB2.0 port. The first Samsung tablet ever to have a standard USB2.0 port. Took them long enough!

So basically its a playbook with android and a higher res screen, oh and it costs double Playbook price was 499 for 16GB until they did their fire sale. What are you on?

Finally, a tablet where the increase in price from 16GB to 32GB is somewhat reasonable. I wonder if this retains the rubberized, ribbed, removable back cover which allows user access to the internal batteries.

Did everyone miss that the title says "iPod touch and *iPad* nano"? I've made so many jokes about them discontinuing the iPod Touch and calling it the iPad Nano instead...

Hopefully the recent influx of inexpensive 7-inch tablets also drives price down on 10-inch tablets. If not directly from them being so inexpensive, then indirectly from decreasing some of the demand for 10-inch for folks who want a 7-inch.
