    Removing the "S" in HTTPS so I can use internet.

    It was the date/time. It was set for 2007 so just a little off. I had tried Firefox with no luck but it seems that Chrome/IE/FF all work if I use my brain and keep the date up to speed. Thanks for the help guys.

    Its just the default "This page cannot be displayed" that I've seen in IE whenever the internet is not connected. Systems data and time? As in the date/time on the laptop? Edit= typed while the previous post was entered, I see that https is required and I just cant access the sites on my laptop

    So my laptop running IE or Chrome will not connect to websites with https: and it will not allow me to remove the S. If I type http:www.websitename.com the address automatically adds the S and I get https:www.websitename.com This includes websites saved in my favorites or ones that are linked...
