    Have you checked to see if the driver is up to date or installed? Right click my computer, click properties then find the device manager. Check if the driver is there or has any problems.

    i am using windows 7. when i connect headphones sound comes thru speaker also.i want it thru headphones only.please help me

    Try this, Right click on the volume icon on the task bar. Select playback devices, and under the playback tab, set the headphones as the default device. If that makes no difference then disable the speakers. Hope this helps.
