i am haveing a bit of trouble posting today. to continue.. the differences from win7 to winxp could be how the registry stored information (userprofile), added/removed commands or syntax, and/or how variables/flags are handeled (%%A).

looks like your rename syntax is wrong. you may have to copy then rename. also you can add lines like "date /t >>c:\backuplog.txt" and "time /t >>C:\backuplog.txt" to see what is happening when. to see if its running a command again or just logging it again. the "everything is ok" is just 7zip...

Well, you are going deeper than I expected. Some of these checks your doing (with a voltmeter?) may not give you help eliminate a problem circuit. The protection circuit, usually a relay, could be cutting power to the amplifier cct, or just the outputs. Class d amps are difficult to test...

i think its telling you there is a short somewhere. try unpluging everything (speakers, outputs, and inputs) and see if the message is still active (probably have to cycle the power). then plug in everything one at a time, to see what wire, cable, or device may be your trouble.

you can use a multi-out cable to get your audio. you can select it as your audio output in the audio settings. from what i understand, enabling the multi-out downgrades the HDMI video quality, and its analog audio. you could look for something calld a Toslink to SPDIF coaxial converter.

its not really a point to gound the reciever, like to a wall circuit. but a place to make all your equipment at the same potential. you would tie in all your equipment to this point to eliminate ground loop signals (60hz hum) from circulating through your inputs/outputs. especially if not all...
