I am looking at purchasing a $3000 gaming laptop for extreme gaming. The laptop should come with 770m or 780m sli's. I have my eyes set on the new alienware 18 as it is one of the most powerful laptops around. Can anybody else provide feedback as to what will be the best option for the money?

the alienware m18x would be the best bet for your high budget since it is one of the few laptops that comes with an SLI cconfiguration. Do take a look at the sager laptops too as I believe there is one that comes with a 780 SLI

Looking at your post, I'm guessing the alienware m18x will probably offer you the most bang for your buck considering that one version of it does contain a 780m sli. It does weigh almost 6kg though, but since you are using it for work and carrying it in a car rather than lugging around a...
