i fixed it. Seems there was a problem with the ram sticks. Either one isn't working or a slot isn't working. Moving the ram sticks around and trying one at a time fixed it Now the question is how to fix the ram stick Silly thing is, I didn't even have to touch the ram sticks for this repair...
