Hi, I had same problems as you. Disabling Chrome flash and installing flash player for other browsers and allowing only "other flash" in chrome plugins section resolved my problems. Since then I only update flash normally and everything is fine.

Don't know really. It would be wild guess. Maybe windows mixed "uknown device" with some part of sound card or used simillar recources.

You can try. Also check that your headphones are not muted in windows and that they are set as primary output device when you use them.

I was trying to find infrared driver for your laptop in Win7 section but could not find it also. So, unless you find it (win8 drivers obviously not working) simply disable that device in device manager if you don't plan to use it.

Do you know how to decompress .exe file? Open it with winrar. Inside you'll see folder Win8_64 and Win8_32. If you are using 32 bit windows then extract that folder on desktop, if it is 64 bit windows then extract 64 folder out. Go to device manager, right click on device and select update...

Found the issue. You are trying to install windows 8 drivers according to Setup.ini, that's way it wont work. Open that .exe file with 7-zip or winrar or whatever compression tool you have and extract folder called WIN8 x64 or 32 whichever you are using and update drivers manually.

It's infrared driver. Update chipset drivers and install infrared driver from toshiba site to resolve unknown device. It may that causing some problems.

Hi. Can you go under device manager, find that unknow device, click properties and then details... it should have some nubmers ""dev43id332."" something like that.. provide that detail and will see what is it.

You can try another working CPU. That would be great if you have one arround for testing. Other than that it should be mobo problem. Replacing mobo would solve every other possible problem (connectors, power supply, chipset issue, ram slot issue) altough is most expensive thing to replace.

Only possible conflict can appear that one will detect another as malicious software during background scan. Different companies did that on purpose before to discredit competition. Other than that you are ok to go.
