is the ssd removable or part of motherboard because if removable then it can be connected to any computer whether apple or windows to access your info?

disconnect the power adapter from laptop. remove main battery from laptop. hold the power button down for a 20 count. reconnect the power adapter to laptop & see if laptop powers up when you press the power button.

reload windows to use 64bit version to access to full 4gigs or more of ram that you can't do using 32bit version. go with win 7 home premium or pro so can do free upgrade to win 10 as your ultimate won't do that & is most likely pirated. make & model# of dell laptop to see what ram it uses?

if not overheating then leave alone as usually the whole keyboard area has to be removed to access the cpu heatsink assembly. sometimes the entire laptop has to be disassembled to get at the cpu area.

is there a pattern in the sequence of beeps? i think it is a setup issue in the bios not hardware as in broken hard drive. have you tried the default settings in the bios?

so the configuration you are attempting to use is the 128gb ssd as the c:drive & the 1tb as the d:drive without changing anything, correct?
