Well, it seems to me like i'm best off saving up some more money and just getting the MSI GS70. This is the best one for me, as it seems.

The three main games I will be playing are payday 2, minecraft and garry's mod. If I could get maxed settings on that on a 1080p screen while getting at least 40 fps, i'd manage. Minecraft takes up GPU and CPU, so those have to be balanced, and garry's mod is mostly GPU based, as it is a source...

Okay, would taking out the want for an SSD help find a better one? I can always upgrade to an SSD later on.

Ergh. I don't care to have the highest settings in games, i'm fine with mid range, but the slimness factor is the largest thing for me. I've never been that into battlefield, so I guess you could scratch that off the list. The most i'd be willing to go is $1500.

I have two old laptops that I will be selling, both in near perfect condition. One of them is an HP G60-508US, the other an HP Pavillion DV7-6163cl I'm hoping to sell these two laptops to get money towards a new one, as my friend from class wishes to buy my old G60. Thanks

I'm looking for a new laptop, and the most i'd like to spend is $1000. I'm a gamer, and I like speed, so if there is a thin, preferably 1080p 15 or 17 inch laptop with an ssd i'd like that. If you found a good one that doesn't have an SSD, i'd like that to be ~$800 so that I could plonk in one...
