    Thank you so much. Hooked it up to my SmartTV through HDMI port and it was the dreaded white screen there as well. Do I try to repair it, or time to start looking for a new one? I so very much appreciate the help!

    I have an HP laptop from 2015, I have no video cable?! I have white screen! Is it worth it to try and repair it? Thank you very much.
