Hi, I have an Acer Aspire (3820TZ-4571) laptop and I dropped it while there was headphones plugged in to the 3.5mm jack. Now the laptop thinks there is something permanently plugged into the 3.5mm and the speakers don't work. Even worse, the 3.5mm jack only works if I plug earphones into it...
