I currently use a 50' plenum HDMI cable to connect from laptop to overhead video projector to run PowerPoint with embedded videos. This works fine with no booster. I now need to add 25' feet to this arrangement as we are moving further away from the projector. Do I need a booster of some type...

I would like to connect my laptop and a DVD player to an overhead projector. (No receiver is involved). Right now laptop to projector via HDMI works fine. But I use sound cables (RCA) to connect DVD to projector and would like to use both laptop and DVD player with same HDMI cable.
