Thanks, that's got me half way there. It now atomically switches to HDMI when I turn the Blu Ray on. Now, I suppose, I have to find something on the Blu Ray player that switches it back to Freeview when I turn it off.

With the old DVD play using a scart lead, the TV would automatically switch from Freeview to scart the moment I switched the player on. When I switched it off, the TV would then automatically go back to freeview. Now I have a blu ray player connected via a HDMI lead and this doesn't happen. I...
