Get TV to switch to HDMI when blu ray is turned on

With the old DVD play using a scart lead, the TV would automatically switch from Freeview to scart the moment I switched the player on. When I switched it off, the TV would then automatically go back to freeview. Now I have a blu ray player connected via a HDMI lead and this doesn't happen. I have to faff around changing the source and then change it back again afterwards. Is there any way of making the TV change automatically? I've looked all through the settings but nothing seems to fit.

Check the TV menu for CEC. Turn it on.
It might not work the way your old set up did but give it a try.

Thanks, that's got me half way there. It now atomically switches to HDMI when I turn the Blu Ray on. Now, I suppose, I have to find something on the Blu Ray player that switches it back to Freeview when I turn it off.
