I updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but I still was unable to use the camera. I was planning to install Ubuntu in an attempt to get it working, but I managed to fix it. The solution was inside the BIOS, where "Enable Webcam" was turned off. Could a mod close this thread? I don't know how.
