Thanks. I finally got it sorted out. It was frustrating with my new HD TV having worse sound quality than my 20 year old analog set!

I am trying to connect a Samsung UN32M4500 to a Yamaha RX-V383. I have an HDMI connection between the TV's HDMI/ARC port and tho receiver's HDMI1. I get nothing. The TV's on-screen audio options only mention a digital audio option, but the receiver has on digital audio port. Any help solving...
