this is getting really confusing. So my question was when the win 10 free promotion comes out is it just an upgrade or can you do a clean install

what do u mean its a permanent free upgrade if u have win 7/8

but i read some where for the first year upon release its a free clean install?

I was using a cracked version on win7 with winloader this morning. Than i found about the win 10 technical preview so i did a clean install (meaning wiping out everything). After i did some research i found out that win 10 is free for win 7/8. But unfortunately i dont have win 7 disk so im stuck...
