I think i figured it out. Found a dell audio thinger and it had "enhancements" on...shut that off seemed to fix.

Just got a new dell laptop, with the single audio/mic jack. Hav an adapter from startech...it works BUT when i play my fav game (CS GO), everyones voice and some of the noises seem a bit echoey...any ideas why? Been trying to figure this out for hours
