P4 3 ghz desktop CPU

Sorry Prostar It is a clevo laptop with p3 3 ghz desktop CPU 512 m ram It is probably 8 years old and does need replacing but would like to get into my myob program to finalise some stuff first Thanks for you help

Sorry I did add more info but must done something wrong It was initially happening when opening any PDF in full screen The screen turns mostly black with random colour blocks (small) It is now happening before Xp finishes loading It does the same if I use external monitor Thank you

Screen goes black with colours can anyone help please
