Does my rig supports VR ??

The 6600K is the skylake top end I5. Because it's a K cpu it can be overclocked using the multiplier, that's why it doesn't come with a fan because they expect everyone to throw it away anyway to put their own better cooling on. The 7600 is a refinement on the 6600, so it's slightly better at...

Does my rig supports VR ??

Yeah this is true, what I meant when I said it wouldn't physically fit is that it wouldn't fit into a DDR4 slot. I said this because it's near impossible to find a higher end board with DDR3 slots on them. If you do get a board with DDR3 slots then male sure you set your voltages correctly or...

Does my rig supports VR ??

It supports ddr3L which isn't the same as ddr3. You'll need ddr4 for that cpu. Ddr3 won't even physically fit into any motherboard that cpu is made for. But if you want to keep your ddr3 then your best bet would be to stick with your 4460 and get a z97 or h97 motherboard.

...or you can just change the motherboard to a z97 motherboard and then you can use your 4460 and ddr3 ram. That'll still run VR just fine.

That motherboard doesn't support that cpu. You will need a skylake CPU or kaby lake CPU. I recommend the I5 6600K then change that ddr3 memory for ddr4 memory and then yeah you're all set for vr

That's a good idea actually. I can't do that until next week though as I'm at my girlfriends house for a week (so wish I had my PC here lol). I have a 6700K on my main PC so just disable 2 cores and clock it back down? Will this be a close approximation?

Solved! The most budget and mobile vr capable PC i can build

Hi everybody, thanks for taking the time to read this thread. I'm looking to build the best VR capable PC I can with the smallest possible amount of money. So I'm choosing the hardware on a very strict "if it doesn't increase performance it's not going in" basis. I already have a "balls to the...

Can anybody reccomend a video camera?

Can anybody recommend a video camera that is 1080p minimum, has a display screen that can spin 360 degrees and has an external microphone input? I want to use it to make YouTube videos at a decent quality. My budget is £250. Thanks for reading :)
