My granddaughter knockedmy nook off table while charging , bought newwcord now no lights have had it plugged in for over 48 hr

MERGED QUESTION Question from happigran : "Nook btn 400" Btn 400. How do you get to battery? Cleaned port with alcohol n brush, now free light comes on for sec turns orange then gone again!

Charging Nada New cord, no lights. Plugged in over 2 days nothing!
