    Help choosing a gaming laptop

My pick would be the Alienware 15, simply because its cheaper and for the Alienware amp :)

Trying to find a very specific laptop for my needs, please help!

The Lenovo Y50-70 is pretty decent for it's price If you got some extra money to spend, you can check out the Asus ROG GL552VW And yes they're both backlit :)

    Selection for laptop

Check this out: HP Pavilion 15 AT552TX It has a Core i5 @2.3Ghz, 8GB RAM (expandable to 16GB), and a 940M. You can probably get 60 Fps on medium-high (no AA). Good luck man

    Dell inspiron 5555 and a8 7410 - Can I play GTA V?

The 920m is somewhat close to the Intel HD 4400, and hence, kinda bad. Syndicate would run at 10-20fps on lowest @720p. At least that's what I predict.

Seeking Laptop w/ External Graphics Enclosure; Razer 14" vs Alienware 15

By the informative comparison you've provided, i'd pick the Alienware, because of the better display (15 inches and the 4k resolution) and the Alienware Amplifier for the Desktop GPU. The weight and size doesn't really bother me. Iv'e heard some say the Razer Blade has some terrifying heating...

Looking for a laptop for lightweight gaming.

The UX305 is pretty decent! However, if i'm buying a laptop, i'd buy a one that's good enough to play some of the latest games, in case I have a sudden urge to try them out, since I too play on emulators quite a lot (Chrono Trigger <3) You could look at the Lenovo Y50-70 or the Asus ROG...

Alienware 15: Is it a good idea?

Also, how does the Alienware Amplifier keep up? Are there any other laptops which can have Desktop GPUs be connected to them?

Alienware 15: Is it a good idea?

MSI seems pretty cool, but the Dominator Pro is kinda out-of-budget for me (about 2,20,000 which is 3300$). I would've loved to buy an Aorus or a Sager but I cant find them anywhere here.

    Dell inspiron 5555 and a8 7410 - Can I play GTA V?

Worse probably. I'm guessing around 10-20 on lowest which is kinda unplayable. I suggest you upgrade to a desktop or a new laptop if you'd like to play the newer games

    Can I run it ?

Probably, but with terrible performance. It would be very unplayable.

    Dell inspiron 5555 and a8 7410 - Can I play GTA V?

That seems kinda weak. Though, you might get around 30 fps on low settings.

Alienware 15: Is it a good idea?

As I said earlier, building a PC is not really an option at the moment :(

Alienware 15: Is it a good idea?

Hello, I'm from India and almost everything here is overpriced. I was planning on buying myself a new system but wasn't sure what to do. I'll be travelling a lot this year and the next, so I really couldn't consider building a PC yet. Hence, a good laptop is my only deal. I'm looking for...
